For my final major project, my aim is to create a collection of pieces that elicit calming and soothing emotions through the use of muted tones, blissful patterns, blended colours, and microstructures. ‘Mindful Opulence’ intends to disrupt the current luxury interiors market by offering high-quality, decorational pieces that aren’t garish or overbearing. With escapism being at the forefront of this project, my desire for this collection is that it elicits a calming and relaxing response – enchanting those who interact with peacefulness and serenity.
